Nestled on our family farm in regional Queensland, our puppies grow up surrounded by wide open spaces, fresh country air, and plenty of room to explore. They're raised as part of our family—not in kennels—where they're loved, handled daily, and exposed to the sights, sounds and experiences that help them become confident, well-rounded companions.

Life at Oakover is busy, fun and full of adventure. From chasing leaves in the paddock to following the kids around the yard, our puppies experience real family life from day one. They meet a variety of people, spend time around other animals, hear everyday household noises, and enjoy plenty of enrichment that encourages curiosity and confidence.

Our children play a huge role in raising our puppies. Whether it's cuddle time on the lawn, supervised play sessions, or simply being part of the daily routine, our puppies learn that people are safe, kind and fun to be around. Those early interactions help lay the foundations for calm, affectionate family dogs.

Above all else, health and temperament are at the heart of everything we do. Every breeding dog is carefully selected and comprehensively health tested before becoming part of our breeding program. We are passionate about preserving the wonderful Golden Retriever temperament while producing puppies that are healthy, intelligent and ready to become cherished members of their new families.
