A Difficult Update on Bunny’s Pregnancy

Dear friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share some disappointing news regarding Bunny’s pregnancy. Sadly, after much hope and anticipation, we’ve learned that Bunny’s pregnancy is no longer viable, and we won’t be welcoming puppies this time.

There are few things more heartbreaking than preparing for new life and having that hope quietly slip away. For those of you who have followed our journey, you’ll understand how deeply we care for our dogs and the immense amount of time, energy, emotion, and financial investment that goes into breeding responsibly. When things don’t go as planned, the disappointment cuts deeply.

Unfortunately, sometimes mother nature has a different plan. The heartbreak of a failed pregnancy isn’t just emotional — it’s also the weight of countless hours spent planning, vet visits, sleepless nights, the hope we’ve shared with excited future puppy families, and the dreams that now have to be put on hold. It’s a tough part of breeding that isn’t often talked about, but it's very real.

We are giving Bunny all the love and care she needs to recover, both physically and emotionally. She’s still the same sweet, gentle soul we adore — and watching her resilience reminds us why we do this in the first place. We breed not just for puppies, but for the love of the dogs we raise and the joy they bring into people’s lives.

To everyone who has supported us, reached out, or shared in the excitement of this journey — thank you. Your kindness means more than you know. And while this chapter didn’t end the way we’d hoped, we’ll continue forward with the same care, integrity, and love that guides everything we do.
